We’ve been talking about new beginnings all year. The Grace Care Center provides so many opportunities for new beginnings every single week.

And it’s a time for new beginnings with the Foundation, too.

The past few months have been a road of learning, growing, and, most importantly, listening. You’ve told us time and again that our old name, Foundation for Sustainable Care, while packed with good intentions, just didn’t hit home. It missed the mark explaining what we’re all about and how supporters can help the Grace Care Center.

Guess what? We heard you loud and clear.

The Foundation team and board of directors couldn’t be more excited to introduce you to the Grace Care Center Foundation.

This isn’t just a name change. It’s us getting real about who we are and what we aim to do. It’s us, putting our heart on our sleeve (and in our logo!).

Here’s What’s New (But Also, What’s Always Been)

This whole name-change adventure isn’t about us steering in a new direction. Nope, not at all. It’s about us owning up to the essence of our mission to resource the Grace Care Center – with a tad more clarity and a bit more visual recognition.

Community: This one’s big for us. We’re nothing without our community – you know, the wonderful mix of Care Center Friends, our tireless volunteers, the generous donors, our dedicated Care Center staff, and of course, the businesses and partners in our community who stand by us. Together, we make up the Grace Care Center community, creating a space where everyone feels like they receive hope, dignity, and are equipped for sustainable life change — and can make a real difference in God’s kingdom.

Stewardship: We’re all about doing right by the resources and trust you’ve given us. Every penny and every volunteer hour is sacred. We’re here to make sure it all goes a long way in making a tangible, lasting impact.

Excellence: The Foundation is committed to the highest standards of professionalism and quality in our services and interactions, striving for continuous improvement and accountability in all we do.

Why It Matters

Our Foundation team and board of directors work hard to make sure the Grace Care Center has what it needs to dependably meet the needs of our hungry friends and neighbors each week and deliver care in an innovative, dignifying way that encourages life change and a path to sustainability.

The Grace Care Center Foundation raises financial support and advocates for the Grace Care Center in Central Indiana and beyond.

In response, we've embraced a name that more clearly explains who we are and what we do: Grace Care Center Foundation.

This change is more than just a new name. It's a reminder that we’re here to serve our Grace Care Center community with greater clarity, partnership, purpose, and connection.

So here’s to new beginnings, to a name that really feels like us, and to you – for being with us every step of the way.
