Mobile Pantry by the Grace Care Center

About the Project

The Grace Care Center will expand again in 2022 by launching a Mobile Food Pantry. The Mobile Food Pantry provides a new way to love and serve our neighbors that will bring hope and practical care to those who are hurting.
The Foundation for Sustainable Care raised funding in 2021 through generous donors to purchase a truck and customize a 53-foot gooseneck trailer that will house a mobile version of the Choice Food Pantry. A mobile pantry is a food pantry on wheels with bins, shelves, refrigerators, and freezers that will hold a wide variety of essential grocery items a family needs, including produce, proteins, dairy, breads, soups, condiments, snacks, drinks, cleaning supplies, diapers, and personal care items and much more.
The Mobile Food Pantry will travel to where the need is greatest around Central Indiana, bringing food, support and hope conveniently to our neighbors. The Mobile Pantry will offer choice, healthy options, and the opportunity to be in personal relationship, just like the original Choice Food Pantry in Noblesville. The goal, as always, is to help neighbors find their way back to a sustainable and healthy place in their life.
