It may surprise you to learn that Hamilton County has the second-highest number of people struggling with food insecurity in Indiana. Over the last several weeks we’ve shared the need, impact, and importance of recurring donations to the Foundation for Sustainable Care so we can help meet that need. Your monthly donations help the Care Center plan for the future and respond to emergency situations. While every dollar, prayer, and hour of volunteering you provide is immeasurably important to the lives impacted by the Grace Care Center, recurring donations ensure the needs can be met daily, month after month.

Our monthly donors have many different reasons why they choose to support the work of the Grace Care Center through the FSC. When we asked Ray and Darwin Gomez why they chose to partner with us by becoming monthly donors, this is what they had to say:

Ray and I give to GCC (The Foundation for Sustainable Care) because we believe it’s important to give back. We feel that when you are able to meet a person's practical need, they can then become more receptive to receiving spiritual, mental, and emotional help as well.

It opens up opportunities for God to move and show up in a person's life. We are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus and we feel so honored to be able to do so.

We are so grateful for everyone who has chosen to give monthly to the Foundation for Sustainable Care.  Your donation enables us to put the power of kindness to work through food, prayer, support, training, and so much more. As the needs of our neighbors continue to grow, the importance of consistent and reliable resources grows, too. If you have not done so already, would you consider becoming a monthly donor to the Foundation for Sustainable Care today?
