Choice Food Pantry
Dignifying experience
Unlike traditional food distribution models, Grace Care Center operates a choice-based system resembling a grocery store. This approach preserves dignity and empowers individuals to select items based on their dietary preferences and family needs.
Prioritizing nutrition
By prioritizing nutrition through a point system that encourages healthier choices, the Choice Food Pantry promotes balanced and wholesome selections, ensuring that families not only receive assistance but also have the opportunity to make healthier dietary choices.
Mobile Pantry
Care into the community
The Mobile Pantry by the Grace Care Center mobilizes the Grace Care Center’s unique and dignifying model of choice into our central Indiana communities — especially those areas that don’t have great access to wholesome food and are limited by some transportation barriers.
Emergency response
When a tornado hit Sullivan, Indiana in March 2023 and decimated their community and their area’s food pantry, Grace Care Center swiftly mobilized resources to provide essential supplies and support. With its flexible operations, collaborative partnerships, and compassionate approach, the Mobile Pantry offers quality care when and where it's needed most.

Vehicle Services
Keeping cars on the roads
Care Center Friends engaging in Referral Services can take part in Vehicle Services through high-value preventative maintenance to keep Grace Care Center friends on the road to work and school.
Car donation
Cars donated to Grace Care Center are granted to Care Center Friends in need of reliable transportation.
Micro Savings & Loan
Preventing predatory loans
The Microfinance Savings & Loan program offers accessible capital and flexible repayment plans to those facing barriers to traditional financial services. The program features zero-interest rates, preventing borrowers from using high-interest predatory payday loans that perpetuate poverty.
Recycling philanthropy
Through the innovative Microfinance Savings & Loan program, Friends of the Grace Care Center repay the funds they borrow, which are then recycled to be lent out again multiple times, amplifying their impact.
English Classes
In Central Indiana especially, language proficiency is a key determinant of access to educational and employment opportunities.
Practical application
Emphasis on practical application and supportive learning environments ensures that students develop the skills needed to navigate diverse social and professional settings. These help integration into the community and equitable access to opportunity.

The Thrift Store offers a diverse range of quality merchandise at affordable prices. From clothing and furniture to household items and more, our carefully curated selection allows individuals to access high-quality essentials without compromising their budgets.
Revenue generated from the Thrift Store directly supports programs and initiatives of Grace Care Center. Every purchase made at the store becomes an investment, creating a cycle of support that sustains our mission of providing hope and care.
